about

This track also features an unusual sound that Tim discovered by accident during the take. Listen for the high pitched "whistle" of string harmonics created by bowing across the strings with the slide bar. It's quite beautiful.

This is one of four tracks that were recorded in two takes.
The first take is the shimmering 'string rustling' in the background where the "whistling harmonics" occurred. The main part was then recorded in a single pass, over the top of that atmospheric layer.

Tim performed this track on "Francesca", a Regal Black Lightning, Square Neck Resonator.
